If you are 60 years old or older and live in Cheboygan County, we can assist you with limited local non-emergency transportation services. Availability is limited to Cheboygan County only and normal business hours, Monday – Thursday, between the hours of 8:00am – 3:00pm.
SERVICE AREA:
Door-to-door service for persons going to medical and non-medical appointments.
Our transportation coverage area is limited to Cheboygan County.
SCHEDULE:
Transportation is scheduled by appointment only and is on a first-call basis.
Two days (48) hour is required. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required.
Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available.
FEE SCHEDULE & PAYMENT:
Cheboygan City: $2.50 one way ($5.00 round trip)
Indian River, Wolverine, Onaway, Afton, Mackinaw City: $4.00 one way ($8.00 round trip)
Please have exact fare, drivers do not carry change. We accept credit cards, check, cash.
Payment is required prior to or upon pickup.
PLEASE NOTE:
Those requiring assistance must travel with a caregiver. Caregiver is subject to 50% fare.
Driver will assist entering & exiting the vehicle. Driver cannot wait during appointment.

The Cheboygan County Council on Aging (“CCCoA”) is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of its transit services on the basis of race, color, or national origin, as protected by Title VI in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Circular 4702.1.A. and as updated in FTA C 4702.1B. This plan has been developed in accordance with this updated circular. This plan was developed to guide the CCCOA in its administration and management of Title VI-related activities.
